Intuit Customer Success (ICS) plays a vital role in this mission through our AI-driven expert platform. Our Expert Network attracts and develops financial experts to serve our customers across our two main business segments- Consumer Group (CG) and Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG), helping them build confidence in their financial decisions, from tax to accounting. Our Virtual Expert Platform (VEP) leverages the power of AI to deliver speed to benefits for our customers through AI product support and AI-enabled expertise.

Responsibilities

This finance role will be supporting our GBSG segment and Virtual Expert Platform as part of our Intuit Customer Success team. You are expected to build trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders, leverage strategic analysis and financial modeling to influence resource allocation decisions to maximize ROI, and help shape our platform initiatives to drive customer growth/retention and cost efficiencies.

 

Core responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Strategic planning: Be a trusted advisor to the leadership team to develop and refine our 1- and 3-year strategic plans, proactively highlighting risks and opportunities related to business growth and drive optimal investment decisions
  • Operational excellence: Partner with Operations, Analytics and Finance team to develop and monitor key performance indicators to drive insights and decision making in order to achieve our strategic and financial goals 
  • Financial Modeling: Create best-in-class models to help align strategic targets with operational plans, sharpening key assumptions to build confidence in our plans and identify opportunities to scale or pivot
  • Financial reporting: Prepare financial reporting deliverables (month-end close package, variance explanation, etc) to enable transparency into the business’s performance and drivers. Liaise with the Accounting team and cross-functional business partners to ensure correct accounting treatment of transactional activities.
  • Process improvement: Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement by streamlining, standardizing and automating processes and reporting requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience within strategic finance or equivalent tenure from related positions in corporate FP&A, consulting, or investment banking
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze complex business scenarios by building financial models. Tableau and Hyperion EssBase experience preferred
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, simultaneously manage several priorities, and challenge the status quo to lead change and operational improvements
  • Attention to details and ability to synthesize large volumes of data into insightful recommendations to the executive leadership team
  • “Owner’s mindset” and ability to influence all levels of leadership to drive actions, behaviors, decisions and business outcomes
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in presenting to business partners with confidence, conviction, and credibility
  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics preferred

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $122,000 - 165,000, Southern California $111,500 - 151,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
